Tampa Rays Pitching Coach
 
RC enters his third season with the Devil Rays organization spending the previous two years as pitching coach with class-A Southwest Michigan. He was previously the pitching coach for Central League (Ind.) champion Edinburg in 2004 and manager of the Alexandria Aces of the Central League in 2003. His previous five seasons (1998-2002) saw him as a pitching coach in the Brewers organization where his teams made the playoff three of his first four seasons, and his staff led the rookie-level Pioneer League in ERA in 1999.

In 1995, he appeared as a player/pitching coach of the Merrillville Muddogs (Ind.) of the Mid-American League where he finished among league leaders in ERA and strikeouts while being selected to the All-Star team. His next two years (1996-97), RC was the manager and Director of Baseball Operations for the DuBois County Dragons (Ind.)

He is a graduate of the University of Illinois-Chicago where he also served as a coach from 1991-94. During the summers of 1993-94, he guided the USA select team in International Tournaments in Belgium, Holland and Aruba.
