Owlz to send 4 players to East Cobb Tournament

2/26/10 - Diamond Owlz announce their plans to send the following players (Tyler Halas, Alex Troop, Matt Ellis and Josh Grabinski) to play at the East Cobb Baseball Complex in Marietta, Georgia. The Owlz players will be representing the Chicago Select Baseball team at the Triple Crown Sports - March Mayhem on March 19-22. In addition to Owlz players, the Chicago Select team will be represented by Roger Wilson and Mike Christie from the Orland Park Magic, Collin Bonnett and Brad Wood from the Illinois Sparks, Chris Whalen from the Lisle Wolves and Cory Wright from the St. Charles Northstars. Owlz players are looking forward to the early start to their 2010 season! Facing some of the top East Cobb Teams in this event will be a scouting opportunity they can use as they see some of these teams later this year at the Battle in the South and Cincy Flames Classic.
